If something goes wrong, we already have the evidence.
Disputes on Verity are resolved by facts, not arguments. The record exists before anyone complains.
Before a dispute starts, the evidence already exists
When a worker arrives on site, they send two photos via WhatsApp before touching anything. Those photos are timestamped and locked to the job record the moment they're sent. They can't be edited, deleted, or added to later.
By the time any dispute is raised — days or weeks later — there is already a neutral record showing what the site looked like before work began. That's not something either party can fabricate after the fact.
Every job builds its own evidence file
Automatically, without anyone having to do extra admin:
- The quote is accepted with exact line items on record
- Any change in scope requires customer approval before it proceeds
- Payment is confirmed by both sides — not just claimed
- Arrival time is logged
- Before-work photos are locked to the timeline
If a dispute is raised, a review panel sees this full picture — not just the version one party chose to share.
Disputes are resolved by the record, not by Verity.
When a dispute is raised, the evidence is already locked in the ledger — the photos, the timestamps, the accepted quote, the scope approvals, the payment confirmations. Neither party can add to it, alter it, or delete it after the fact.
Both parties submit a written account of what they believe happened. That account is reviewed against the job record that already exists — not against whatever each side chooses to present.
The decision, and the reasoning behind it, is written permanently to the ledger. It can't be changed.
If the two parties can't reach agreement, the record is theirs to take wherever they need to.
We don't automatically side with customers. We don't automatically side with workers. We side with what the record shows.
Why photos taken after a dispute carry less weight
The system knows when every piece of evidence was submitted. Photos sent before a dispute was raised are treated differently to photos sent the day after a complaint is filed.
This matters. A worker who documented their work throughout the job is in a structurally different position to one who uploads photos reactively. The timeline is clear, and both parties can see it.
We encourage both parties to keep adding photos and notes as the job progresses — not just at the start. Every update you make during the job becomes part of a timestamped record that predates any complaint. The more you document while work is underway, the stronger the picture the panel sees.
